Missions

Ardmore First United Methodist Church is involved in an Acts 1:8 ministry. We go to “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.” In the coming year, we will conduct missions in cities and countries across the globe!

Globally
The AIDS Orphan Project in Kenya; seminarians in Nigeria, Estonia, Mexico, and the Congo; 4 Haitian pastors; the Jesus Film Project

Nationally
Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Heal Our Patriots; missions on 4 college campuses; a student at Lydia Patterson Institute in El Paso, Texas; OK Volunteers In Mission director and office

Locally
The Ardmore Soup Kitchen; the House of Bread Homeless Shelter; Good Shepherd Medical Clinic; and Food for Kids Backpack Program. First Church holds an annual Faith Promise Campaign each spring to underwrite our mission trips, missionaries, and our extensive local and global outreach.
